Bucket List

bucket list

Last Updated:  4/20/19

2018 marks the year I find myself on the older side of  my “mid-30s,” turning 36 on July 31.  I started thinking about things I’d like to do before I turn 40 – and hey, things even beyond that; it’s not like your life ends at 40, you know?

None of these goals were exotic or probably especially awe-inducing – I have to consider the reality of my life, my financial situation, and the fact that I have a family to take care of and provide for, so I couldn’t fritter away money even if I had any.  As a result, while the broad “travel to Europe” is a goal on the list, I’m not coming up with any elaborate wishes of month long rendezvous in the Alps or anything.  Maybe I really scrounge and save for a Groupon week in Spain, or something.

But it’s about goals, and ambitions, and things I keep meaning to do, but putting off.  Things don’t have to be elaborate to be worthwhile.  That being said, here’s my (ever-changing, ever being augmented) Bucket List:
